For swine veterinarians or producers who are seeking accurate diagnoses of pig diseases or monitoring vaccine response, Synbiotics manufactures an extensive line of swine diagnostics.  Our SERELISA® diagnostic kits include ELISAS for detecting antigen and antibody to PCV-2 and hog cholera (Classical Swine Fever) as well as ELISAs to assess antibody to Mycoplasma Hyopneumonia and Pseudorabies virus (associated with Aujeszky’s Disease).  In addition, Synbiotics offers OVASSAY® Plus/OVATEC® Plus System for detection of gastrointestinal parasitic ova and bioScreen Ileitis Antibody ELISA for detection of Lawsonia intracellularis. Synbiotics recently introduced products ideal for monitoring Swine Influenza Type A antigen (Flu DETECT™ Swine) and antibody (Flu DETECT® BE).

SERELISA® PRV gI Ab Mono Blocking
The SERELISA® PRV gI Ab Mono Blocking ELISA is designed to detect anti-envelope glycoprotein (gI) antibodies of or Pseudo Rabies Virus (PRV) associated with Aujeszky's Disease Virus in swine.  Positive serum or plasma samples correspond to either infected pigs or pigs vaccinated with a PRV vaccine (gI+) while negative samples correspond to non-infected pigs, possibly vaccinated with a deleted PRV vaccine (gI-).
