For swine veterinarians or producers who are seeking accurate diagnoses of pig diseases or monitoring vaccine response, Synbiotics manufactures an extensive line of swine diagnostics.  Our SERELISA® diagnostic kits include ELISAS for detecting antigen and antibody to PCV-2 and hog cholera (Classical Swine Fever) as well as ELISAs to assess antibody to Mycoplasma Hyopneumonia and Pseudorabies virus (associated with Aujeszky’s Disease).  In addition, Synbiotics offers OVASSAY® Plus/OVATEC® Plus System for detection of gastrointestinal parasitic ova and bioScreen Ileitis Antibody ELISA for detection of Lawsonia intracellularis. Synbiotics recently introduced products ideal for monitoring Swine Influenza Type A antigen (Flu DETECT™ Swine) and antibody (Flu DETECT® BE).

SERELISA® PCV2 Ab Mono Blocking
The SERELISA® PCV2 Ab Mono Blocking ELISA detects PCV2 (Porcine Circovirus Type 2) antibodies specifically in swine feces or serum.  It provides a qualitative method when serum or feces are used and a quantitative method with serum.
