For swine veterinarians or producers who are seeking accurate diagnoses of pig diseases or monitoring vaccine response, Synbiotics manufactures an extensive line of swine diagnostics.  Our SERELISA® diagnostic kits include ELISAS for detecting antigen and antibody to PCV-2 and hog cholera (Classical Swine Fever) as well as ELISAs to assess antibody to Mycoplasma Hyopneumonia and Pseudorabies virus (associated with Aujeszky’s Disease).  In addition, Synbiotics offers OVASSAY® Plus/OVATEC® Plus System for detection of gastrointestinal parasitic ova and bioScreen Ileitis Antibody ELISA for detection of Lawsonia intracellularis. Synbiotics recently introduced products ideal for monitoring Swine Influenza Type A antigen (Flu DETECT™ Swine) and antibody (Flu DETECT® BE).

Flu DETECT® BE
Flu DETECT® BE is a sensitive and specific blocking ELISA designed to aid in the detection of Type A antibody to AIV in serum from multiple species.  Positive results should be confirmed by conventional methodology or reference labs.
