Whether you are a companion animal veterinarian, reproductive veterinarian, humane society animal supervisor or laboratory director, Synbiotics produces an appropriate feline diagnostic test.  For convenient, in clinic screening, our WITNESS® Rapid Immuno-Migration (RIM™) tests provide a single test format for the detection of feline heartworm (HW), feline leukemia virus (FeLV), feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), or the determination of relaxin or luteinizing hormone (LH) levels to assess stages of estrous or pregnancy.  For noninvasive FeLV screening, our ASSURE®/FeLV test format can be used with saliva.  For testing a large number of samples in one assay, we manufacture ELISA tests including ViraCHEK®/FeLV, ViraCHEK®/FIV (only available from Lyon and for markets outside North America) and ViraCHEK®/CV (Coronovirus or Feline Infectious Peritonitis), DiroCHEK® for heartworm and SERELISA® Rabies.  Synbiotics also offers OVASSAY® Plus/OVATEC® Plus System and FUNGASSAY® to screen for gastrointestinal parasitic ova and dermatophytes.

ASSURE®/FeLV
ASSURE®/FeLV is a test wand enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) which detects p27 feline leukemia antigen. This group specific antigen is found in high levels in infected cats, and its presence is diagnostically definitive for FeLV infections. The kit detects circulating antigen in anticoagulated whole blood, serum or plasma samples but can also be used with noninvasive saliva samples using the antibody coated wand. The kit is not affected by FeLV vaccination.
