For government approved facilities, our ELISA, ViraCHEK®/EIA, is the fastest Equine Infectious Anemia test available while our AGID test, LAB-EZ®/EIA, produces sharp, well defined precipitin lines. Other onsite diagnostic kits include FUNGASSAY® a simple test medium for identifying dermatophytes, OVASSAY® Plus/OVATEC® Plus System a self-sealing, flotation method for assessment of gastrointestinal parasitic ova and OVUCHECK® Premate, a rapid, semi-quantitative measurement of progesterone to determine stage of estrous or confirm pregnancy in mares. For monitoring Equine Influenza Type A, Synbiotics recently introduced Flu DETECT™ Equine and Flu DETECT® BE.
The kit yields 10 tests if samples are assayed individually and more tests if batch testing is used. To maximize the product dating, once the substrate is dissolved into solution, it should be fractionated and frozen (see direction insert). Do NOT freeze the entire kit.
