Mr. Hays joined Synbiotics in 2003 after 20 years in the animal health
industry, including executive experience at Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Boehringer
Ingelheim Animal Health GmbH, CIBA-Geigy and Coopers Animal Health. Mr. Hays
is responsible for directing the company’s strategy and leading its operations
and quality. He also serves as President for Synbiotics Europe SAS. Earned
a B.S. in animal science from the University of Missouri in 1983.
Daniel O'Rourke
Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer

Joined Synbiotics in 2007 after 30 years of accounting experience
in various industries, including Sprint and PPG industries. Performed
controller duties with three small to mid-size organizations. Responsible
for the company’s accounting and human resource functions. Earned
a B.S.B.A in Accounting from Rockhurst University in 1976 and a MBA
in Finance from Rockhurst in 1983.
Kevin Hayes

Joined Synbiotics in 2007 after 12 years in the chemical and
animal health industries, including increasing responsibilities at
Hillyard, Carroll Company and Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica. Responsible
for the company’s global sales and marketing functions including customer
service and technical service. Earned a B.S. in business administration
from Missouri Western State College in 1994.

Vice President, Research, Development & Quality and Chief
Scientific Officer

Joined Synbiotics in 2000 after working with Kirkegaard & Perry
Laboratories, Inc.’s diagnostic division. Responsible for the company’s
global research and development, regulatory affairs and quality assurance.
Earned a Ph.D. from James Cook University of North Queensland (Australia)
in 1988 and a veterinary degree from Hariyana Agriculture University
(India) in 1980 and is an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland.
Clifford J. Frank
Vice President, Strategic Projects

Joined Synbiotics in 1991 after 21 years in the animal
health industry, including executive management at Norbrook America,
Schering-Plough and Biologics Corporation (division of TechAmerica).
Responsible for the company’s strategies for global manufacturing operations
and real estate. Earned a M.S. in immunobiology from Iowa State University
in 1979 and a B.S. in bacteriology from Iowa State University in 1971.
Michael Woodard
Vice President, Production

Joined Synbiotics in 2005 after 19 years in the electronics
industry including manufacturing management positions with Diceon Electronics
and Sanmina-SCI. Responsible for continuous improvement of manufacturing
and distribution at the Synbiotics San Diego, California facility.
Earned a B.A. in Operations Management from California State University
Fullerton in 1992. Holds CPIM and CSCP certifications through APICS
and a Six Sigma Black Belt certification through ABI.
