Mr. Hays joined Synbiotics in 2003 after 20 years in the animal health industry, including executive experience at Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health GmbH, CIBA-Geigy and Coopers Animal Health. Mr. Hays is responsible for directing the company’s strategy and leading its operations and quality. He also serves as President for Synbiotics Europe SAS. Earned a B.S. in animal science from the University of Missouri in 1983.

Earned a Ph.D. from James Cook University of North Queensland (Australia) in 1988 and a veterinary degree from Hariyana Agriculture University (India) in 1980 and is an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland.
